Mihalis Panagiotidis (Professor)
is Professor of Cellular & Molecular Sciences at Northumbria University – His research is in the area of molecular toxicology and specifically on the mechanisms underlying disease pathology and the role of nutrition in disease prevention. Mihalis serves at the Editorial Board of a number of peer-reviewed journals whereas at the same time he is an Active Member of the Education Quality Accreditation Commission, a Scientific Advisory Board Member for the International Institute of Anticancer Research, an Active Member (Ambassador Status) of the European Association for Cancer Research and a Permanent Member of the Asia-Pacific Association of Medical Research. In the past, he has been a Marilyn Gentry Fellow of the American Institute for Cancer Research & World Cancer Research Fund as well as a recipient of a number of research awards.
